Full System Convert your piano to
PianoDisc.
Your piano will play "Live Music" through keys, hammers and strings.
The
PianoDisc
full system is an elegant sophisticated electronic
playback and record system using 3.5 inch floppy discs and CD's as a storage
medium. It also provides a full orchestral accompaniment to the piano part.
You play against a full orchestra, a string ensemble or a Jazz combo. The
degree of control from softest to loudest volume is remarkable. The immense
pre-recorded library can suit any taste or occasion.
A hand held remote control
enables operation from any convenient location.
This full system
makes provision for you to record your own playing or, for music teachers,
that of the pupil. As a teaching tool the full system is extremely powerful
while, for recreational or professional use it provides wonderful reference
and endless delight.
Incorporate QuietTime
and the piano becomes a silent high grade synthesizer which only you can
hear, You can practice silently but in many MIDI file voices and with orchestral
backing.
Playback
The basic PianoDisc
is the Playback only System. This enables
the entire library of music to be played through your piano. The Record
facility is not included in the Playback package which can exhibit all the other
features and is upgradeable to record music as an option.
Symphony
Playback and
Full Systems can provide full orchestral accompaniment to your piano performances.
Small but high powered, high fidelity speakers produce accompaniment
sounds enhancing solo performances.
Record
This feature
enables you to record your own performances measuring and registering each
keystroke with "real reproduction".
QuietTime
To enable private
practice, this feature is a boon to all practicing pianists.
QuietTime also
converts your piano into a multi faceted synthesizer.
To move
from QuietTime synthetic sounds (MIDI) to natural acoustic
(piano) and back again is effected by the simple pushing of a lever. The
piano is installed with a mechanical mute which prevents acoustic sound while
earphones produce the synthetic sound - no external sound is heard from your
piano. This is highly regarded by "night owl" piano players,
allows practice to be silent so that full dynamics may be experienced,
albeit in headphones.
